To start creating your first Unity asset bundles for fectar studio. You first have to install and set up your Unity project.
For this tutorial, I use the Fectar demo assets. These are available via our Google Drive, which you can download here.
Assign an asset bundle to your scene
You open your scene and check if everything is ready to export.
In the "project tab," you have to select the scene you want to export to Fectar Studio. In this case, the scene is called "Baked Lighting".
The "inspector tab" will automatically open when you select the scene. If this does not happen, you can open the "Inspector tab" by navigating to Window -> General -> Inspector.
When you have selected the scene and the inspector tab is open, you have the option to create a "new" asset bundle. You find this option on the bottom right side of your screen.
Now you can type a new name. For this example, I have named the asset bundle: myfirstassetbundle
To export the asset bundles to Fectar, you go to Fectar -> Build All Assestbundles. Unity will export your scene to four different bundles. One for Android, IOS, WebGL, and a StandAlone version. These files you can upload to Fectar Studio.
Now you upload and assign the asset bundles in Fectar Studio. Again, you can learn more about this here.
